Biography

Andrew Ahn has four years of experience in public education. He is currently the Pupil Services and Attendance Counselor at the Humanities and Arts Academy of Los Angeles. He received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2014 and his Teacher Educator Certificate in 2015 through the University of Texas at Dallas. Upon completing his Bachelor's degree, he began his career in public education as a U.S. History and AP U.S. History teacher in Plano, TX. After three years in the classroom, he was accepted to the Masters in Counseling program with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy at California State University, Los Angeles which he completed in 2022. Andrew Ahn continues to work with students in order to address any barriers and challenges that may impact their attendance. He believes that every student deserves support and encouragement to overcome adversity and succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
